What I've Been Building Lately

Since getting my Claude license, I've been able to dust off a few side projects that had been sitting on the shelf. From launching a new mobile app to finding new ways to explore public company data, here's a quick roundup of what I've been building lately.
Diende gets its first Android app
Diende, my little app for helping me make decisions, now has an Android app available free on Google Play. It's an early first pass with no account sign-in yet, but it has all the core functionality for helping you make decisions and works completely offline.
Digging deeper into Big Whale Hunting
Big Whale Hunting is my project for exploring the people and companies behind the S&P 500 — who sits on which boards, how companies are connected through shared directors, and how their market caps move over time.
It got a fairly big update this week. I added a dedicated graph for exploring connections between directors, alongside the existing company graph, and brought in company logos to make it easier to see who's who at a glance. I've also started pulling director and officer data directly from the SEC instead of relying on older, less reliable sources. The live company table now shows market cap too.
More life in Galazon
Galazon, my space crate-packing corporate dystopia game, picked up a batch of small but noticeable improvements. There's more variety in the chatter from the in-game characters, a fix for a mobile crash and some missing art that crept in during a level rework, a new option to skip the intro and tutorial if you've already seen them, and some general UI polish on the PC build.
The new mobile version is available now. I've also been working on a much bigger feature for the PC version that lets players create and destroy crates, which adds a whole new dimension to the gameplay.
Keep an eye on vfxger.itch.io/galazon for PC updates. It's free, and I'd love to get some more playtesters.
Small but useful fixes to Your News Headlines
Your News Headlines, my news aggregation app, now has topics, so you can explore stories based on what you're interested in and see which topics are trending. The feature is currently only available in the desktop app while I iron out a few kinks, but it'll be coming to mobile and the web app soon.
